Proud to represent Wythenshawe and Sale East

Mike Kane is Labour’s Member of Parliament for Wythenshawe and Sale East. He currently serves as Parliamentary Under-Secretary for Aviation, Maritime and Security, a post he commenced in July 2024. 

Previously, he was Shadow Minister for International Development from September 2015 to October 2016, when he was appointed Shadow Minister for Schools drawing on his time as a teacher.

Wythenshawe born and bred, when not in the office, Mike can be seen digging cycle paths in the constituency as well as promoting green spaces.
