Mike Kane is currently serving as MP for Wythenshawe and Sale East, and Shadow Minister for Aviation and Maritime.

Previously, he was Shadow Minister for International Development from September 2015 to October 2016, when he was appointed Shadow Minister for Schools drawing on his time as a teacher.

Wythenshawe born and bred, when not in the office, Mike can be seen digging cycle paths in the constituency as well as promoting green spaces.
